February 25, 2021 – Los Angeles, CA – Jacksonville FC's Dominic Dominguez has been selected UPSL National Player of the Week.

A native of Jacksonville, FL, Dominguez made nine saves - including two in the shootout - in a 0-0 (4-3) victory in a UPSL 2020 Fall Season Southeast Conference Florida Central Division 2 Championship Game on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021. Dominguez played 90 minutes as Jacksonville FC (19-0-0 overall) earned promotion to the UPSL Premier Division for the 2021 Spring Season.

Dominguez is the first ever UPSL Division 2 goalkeeper to win the award. He is the second Jacksoville FC player to win the award this season.

A graduate of Jacksonville's Atlantic Coast High School, Dominguez has never played for another club. He has recorded six shutouts this season for Jacksonville FC. 

The UPSL National Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by members of the league and journalists covering the UPSL, and decided by the fans via Twitter poll..
