January 11, 2021 – Los Angeles, CA – UPSL Women is pleased to announce FPS FC as its newest expansion team ahead of the Spring Season.

Based in Midland, TX, FPS FC will begin play in the Central Conference. The club will host its UPSL home games at Grande Communication Stadium (801 N. Loop 250 W, Midland, TX 79703).

Raul Ruiz is the owner of FPS FC. The club has been a member of the UPSL since 2019.

UPSL Women National Director Paul Caligiuri said, "We are excited to open league expansion in Texas with FPS FC. UPSL Women is welcoming well-structured clubs, and FPS FC has a strong profile. The club's multi-layered approach has been a significant platform for players in Midland. We look forward to continued growth in Texas and the development of FPS FC in the UPSL for years to come."

Sabas Ruiz is General Manager of FPS FC.

"We are excited to finally announce the commencement of our UPSL Women's team. Year after year we see many talented young ladies graduate and pursue their soccer careers elsewhere. The UPSL platform allows us to bring that talent back home, and 2021 will be the start of something very exciting here in West Texas," Ruiz said.

FPS FC will announce tryouts and its upcoming game schedule.
