Based in Farmington, UT, KONGO FC will begin UPSL play in the 2020 Fall Season as part of the Mountain Conference. The club will play its UPSL home games at Barnes Park (950 W. 200 North, Kaysville, UT 84037) in compliance with UPSL National Division I standards.

UPSL Commissioner Yan Skwara said, "We are excited to welcome KONGO FC to the UPSL's Utah Division. Kongo Sports has set itself apart in the Salt Lake City area as a premier destination for sports training and excellence and KONGO FC will surely create a competitive atmosphere for its players. Kongo Sports owner Chaz Stevens and KONGO FC General Manager Brendan Kercher have committed to the long-term big picture for soccer in their community and we're excited to see them take the field later this year."

Chaz Walker is the Owner and Operator of Kongo Sports. Brendan Kercher is General Manager and co-Head Coach of KONGO FC, alongside Blake Barnes.

"We want to have a presence in the north part of the Wasatch Front. We feel that the depth of the talent in the area will provide the sustainability the club needs to be competitive for years and years to come," Kercher said.

KONGO FC expects to move into the new Kongo Sports Facility in Farmington, UT, for all training and games ahead of the 2021 Fall Season.

"We're excited to have a soccer specific stadium that will host KONGO FC's UPSL games as well as our sister UWS team, Kongo WFC. In our joint efforts with Kongo Sports we feel that we will bring a top-notch club and product to the community," Kercher said.
